During September the club is promoting tennis in the local community.  On Sunday 16th September there was an open invitation for all to come down for a game of social / competitive tennis or as a spectator to watch the action and meet some of the members.  There was also a chance for kids to have a free 1hr coaching session at 2pm, with parents enjoying a break while the kids get a taste of some tennis fun.

On the day heavy rain put a hold on the tennis outdoors, however it did not stop the visitors.  We had 24 on the day...all new enquiries looking to get involved and play some tennis.  Great proof that there is support for tennis facilities and coaching  in the local area. Our coaching session was a huge success with 14 kids competing in a mini tournament in our two squash courts while the rain came down outside.  Special thanks to Brian Glover our qualified coach who ran the event !
